Reading Response #9- Same ol’ thing different website

The audience of the Klean Kanteen website would be people interested in reducing and reusing to help save the environment.  The main point of this article is to advertise the all metal made water bottle.  The company is claiming they have made a product that is better for the environment than what most people are currently using. Seems so cliché, like every other inventor out that. They claim this water bottle is different from the first version they put out and is safer this time around. I don’t really agree with this website. I feel like it is just another company money hungry by trying to claim they are earth friendly and they have the best product to drink your beverages out of. It’s more like hey come spend $20 on my water bottle that will have a safer, better version in two months.  I think that it’s great that the company is trying to be earth friendly but I think that this is another one of those millions of companies that want to make some more money. It’s not so much about the environment but how can they sucker consumers into buying their product and make them come back for more. The prices on these things are a little ridiculous but I guess if whoever buys them believes they are truly good for the environment then it is worth their money, not mine though. I am fine with a reusable plastic bottle.
