Missing My “Local Burger”!

The Local Burger website list some pretty impressive information in regards to their meat products. The main issue I have with this site is that they really don’t provide facts for their statements. Although using common sense the general population could understand the difference between the meats that they buy at their local grocery store versus the meals that are offer at the Local Burger, but they fail to provide actual scientific data to prove their claims. Yes, they do have a link to an article about one man’s experiment with their foods but they lack the research to fully substantiate the statement about how healthy their food is. By providing more information or even links to studies that have been done on the consumption of meat from naturally raised animals versus animals that have been fed hormones and antibiotics while living their lives in a pen.

However, I agree with the product they are selling and wish that I a restaurant like this near me. Over the last few years living in Alaska, I have experienced the quality of meat that is naturally produced as well as seen the changes in my health because of it and having recently been relocated I am still trying to find a means to return to consuming unaltered animal products. In the short time I have been consuming commercially purchased meat, I have felt a change in my health; a lack of energy, poor sleep habits, and struggling to maintain my normal weight. Living in Alaska, my diet consisted of wild game and seafood as my protein source and ample amounts of fresh produce but since I have left I have resorted to store bought meats while maintaining the same amount of produce intake. While I do not believe that they provide enough research data on or through their website, I agree with the concept that has made this business a success over the last few years and know first had how the changing the type of meat you consume can have on your overall health.
